Well, let’s start with what is an escape room? Have you ever watched a movie about finding hidden treasure? You know what I am talking about… A group of misfit kids find a map in the attic, right? They have to solve a series of riddles and complete tasks to find the treasure from the map. Sound familiar? They are up against the clock, find the treasure, they save their parents’ house. If they don’t complete the tasks and riddles in time, the bankers get to tear it down and turn it into a golf course… It’s exactly like that! But you’re lucky, win or lose, you don’t have to sell your house.

We are located in Downtown Amarillo at 714 SE 10th, which is the old York Tire Warehouse building.
Our rooms are based on a story line, which may or may not be a scary idea. The rooms themselves do not employee actors or scares, and are not designed to be scary.
We highly discourage people from playing the same room more than once as the room and associated puzzles will not change from game to game. However, if you feel that your first experience was limited by group size or other factors and you would like to try again, we will glady let you.

Our rooms are not actually locked. If at anytime you need to step out of the room for any reason please feel free.

Once the time expires we will come and let you out.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your game is scheduled to start. This will allow time to fill out necessary paperwork.

If your game is still being played we will allow you to join your group. If the entire group is late we will allow you to play for the remaining time you booked. There will be no refunds for late arrivals or no-shows.
We understand that sometimes it’s not as enjoyable to play with strangers. If you’re interested in a private room, give us a call at (806) 353-6353 and we will try to accomadate your group.

We set the maximum number of players per game based on space and game interaction. However, if the group you wish to play with is larger than our maximum player number please contact us at info@xcaperoomwarehouse.com or (806) 353-6353 so we can try to accommodate your entire group.

Our rooms are design in a way as to promote multiple small groups within the room to work independently and ultimately come together to escape the room. If you have less than the recommended number, please look for times that are already partially booked. If a room has a required number of players there will be puzzles that it is necessary to have that many people to complete.

Participants must be over the age of 16. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied in room by a parent/guardian.
Walk-ins may be allowed to play if a game master has availability, but we do not arrive until a game is booked. Therefore we may or may not be on property if you arrive without a booking.

We recommend a minimum of 4 people to play our games.

Reservations must be made a minimum of 2 hours before game start time except Fri-Sun when you can reserve 30 minutes prior to start time.
